Shipping policy
In order to ensure the quality of your delivery, we ship on Mondays only. This allows the largest margin or error for perishable products to reach their intended destinations without experiencing a weekend delay.
To ensure simplicity for our customers, shipping fees are presented on a flat by-order basis, taking into account the optimal delivery weights/sizes for our standard insulated packaging options. For this reason, we would like to highlight for our customers the order weight ranges most optimal for shipping efficiency. Our current insulated shipping containers are optimally sized for orders ranging in increments from 15-25lbs (while allowing sufficient room for supplemental cooling products), so you will see significant shipping cost changes on orders around these incremental breaking points. For peak efficiency in utilization of your freight charges, please be mindful of these cutoff points and monitor your order size accordingly. Orders containing any perishable products are shipped UPS via Ground (Standard) or Next Day Air (Express) methods. Your location from our York, Nebraska store location will play a significant factor in the anticipated arrival times for your order, which is of great importance in shipping perishable products. Perishable products will be shipped in insulated container packaging, with supplemental dry ice in anticipation of a 1-3 day delivery timeframe. While orders shipping to a destination outside of a 500 mile radius from York, Nebraska will have a Standard option available to them (and we have had success shipping that far) we cannot guarantee these deliveries and are not liable for the potential product damages. If you choose the Express shipping option and don't receive your shipment intact in the allotted timeframe, reach out to us at prairiepasturespantry@gmail.com to coordinate a replacement order.
Due to the nature of foodstuffs, time sensitivity for delivery of our product, and uncertainty of delays in dealing with customs, we are only able to ship to locations inside the contiguous United States.
